Spacing Paragraphs to change formating with the Ctrl key
In eVetsite III you can change your text layout paragraph by paragraph to Left Justify, Center or Right Justify, add bullet lists, number lists or shift the text to the right to indent sub-paragraphs, etc. This is a great way to accent your pages with custom page layouts:|
When you need to change text formatting (paragraph layout) as you move down your page, hold down the Ctrl key and hit Enter on the keyboard to break the formatting rule (or tool bar tool) that you have previously chosen. This will allow you to set up a new paragraph layout option without the influence of the previous paragraph.
Single Line Spacing and Bullet Lists in the Text Editor
The eVetsite Text Editor interprets the input of the enter key as a carriage return and places a line space between lines of text when used. When you want to create lists, or have the next line added without a space, hold down the Shift key then push the Enter key and the next text line will be added directly under the previous line.
Using the Shift key with the Enter key is essential when working with "bullet" or "numbered" lists to achieve even spacing with correct bullet placement between lines.
When adding new items to a "bullet" list, hold down the Shift key and push the Enter key once to get a blank line space; then release the Shift key and push the Enter key again to add the next item in the bullet list.
To correct problems with a "bullet" list, place the cursor at the beginning of the line (text) you want to correct. Push the Delete key until the text moves up to (becomes continuous with) the previous line of text.
Then, hold down the Shift key and push the Enter key once to get a blank line space, then release the Shift key and push the Enter key again to move the text down one line space, and add the next bullet.
