Search engines use keywords (META Tags) to catalog your web site. The bots cannot 'see' the images so it's important to include Alternative Text (ALT Text) to let the search engines and visually impaired persons know information about the image. This is also an opportunity for you to include your practice name or domain name in search engine results.

This tip will show you how to add ALT Text to images in your eVetsite III website.

Log into your site and then click on Edit Content to edit your page.
Double click on the image you'd like to add ALT text to and you will see the following window .

Add your description in the ALT text section, then click on the Insert button and then click Save Content to save your work.

This will also add the text description to the "mouse over" effect on your web site pages.
