Wednesday, 5/25/2011  3:00 pm update:

An unexpected issue arose during the planned update to the eVetsite email system last Sunday night/Monday morning.  To ensure that your email would be available during your clinic’s business hours, we decided to abort and reschedule the upgrade.

The email upgrade (hardware and software) has been rescheduled for 4 AM (EDT) on Monday, May 30th.     Since this is in the early morning hours of a national holiday in the U.S., we expect and hope this will not be an inconvenience and that most eVetsite users will be asleep and not sending/receiving email.

Our technical staff will be on-call Monday morning should you have any issues with your email service.  We have tested the resolution to the issue we discovered during last week’s attempted upgrade and believe this second attempt will be successful.

Monday, 5/23/2011 -  8:30 am update:

We noted a problem at 6 AM ET that some mail was accumulating in a queue and not going all the way to the recipient.  Just to be cautious we have reverted back to the old mail servers for today while we debug this issue.  As soon as we move back to the new servers again the mail will be delivered.  All mail from your website forms should have been delivered.  Only incoming mail from outside sources was affected.
 
We apologize for any inconvenience this morning and we will be working throughout the day to get any held up mail to you ASAP.

 

 


If you have your email client set up as follows with an IP address in the incoming mail field please change it to mail.yourdomain.com (with yourdomain being your website)
