Preventing Font Issues
Managing fonts on your eVetsites website is easy using our
simple tips! If you already have font issues follow this tip and this one or contact us and we’ll be glad to help. The vast majorities of font issues are due to
users copying and pasting content from Microsoft Word or other websites and can be avoided
by using our Paste From External Source button. The Paste From External Source button will
clean up the code from Microsoft Word and other websites, making the fonts act the way they
should, giving you the ability to change font sizes, colors, etc. without issues.
If you must use Microsoft Word, here’s how you can avoid font issues.
First
copy your content from your Microsoft Word document by highlighting the
text and then clicking on CTRL C. Note that you will not be able to cut
and
paste images, images will have to be uploaded on their own.
Go to
Edit Content on your eVetsite and click on the Paste From External Source button, and then paste the content
there using either CTRL V on Windows of Command + V on a Mac.
You’ll also see a dialogue box with the following text:
This will clean up
HTML source code before pasting it into your document.
Paste or drag content from Office documents, web pages and other programs into
the box below (To paste use the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl + v on Windows or
Command + v on a Mac). Please be patient, pasting from Office documents can
take a considerable amount of time. When the paste is complete press Insert.
After you click on “Insert” click “Save Content” your text should now neatly be
on your page!
